Hurricane Bill was 100 miles away last Saturday but the Spiders of Pebble Beach in Rockport thought their world was ending. To see the spiders better just double-click the photo and the little nasties will be seen all over the beach rocks.
The huge waves kept on coming further up the beach as the high tide got closer near 2pm. This compressed the spiders tighter as they ran for higher ground. As I was taking shots of the big waves, I looked down to my left and got the shot.
I must say that these spiders were very wary of people as they never touched me or crawled up on my chair. That's a good thing.
